Phil was such a sweet and funny man. It was a pleasure knowing and working with him. He made the best Crab Rangoon. Terry enjoyed being his Supervisor and knew he could always count on him to get the job done.

Quan, or as he was later called, Phillip, was one of the greatest, bravest, and most inspiring people I have ever known. He suffered so much under the Communists but he never seemed bitter. He was even sorry for his jailers who kept him in "Re Education" camps for 10 years following the fall of South Vietnam. He was willing to do ANYTHING when he came to the U.S. even though he could have been a professor in Vietnam. He started out peeling vegetables and progressed to factory work and then to a permanent place at the Post Office. He worked as hard as two men there. It was my pleasure and my honor to sponsor him to the U.S. He taught me so much. There will never be another man like him.
