Carmen, I did not know your dad but he had to be a great dad to raise such an amazing woman. Know you are loved and that I am deeply saddened by your loss.

I am a great borrower of words. I hope Walt Whitman's bring you comfort and heart's ease. -- Sally

"The spotted hawk swoops by and accuses me, he complains of my gab
and my loitering.
I too am not a bit tamed, I too am untranslatable,
I sound my barbaric yawp over the roofs of the world.
The last scud of day holds back for me,
It flings my likeness after the rest and true as any on the shadow'd wilds,
It coaxes me to the vapor and the dusk.
I depart as air, I shake my white locks at the runaway sun,
I effuse my flesh in eddies, and drift it in lacy jags.
I bequeath myself to the dirt to grow from the grass I love,
If you want me again look for me under your boot-soles.
You will hardly know who I am or what I mean,
But I shall be good health to you nevertheless,
And filter and fibre your blood.
Failing to fetch me at first keep encouraged,
Missing me one place search another,
I stop somewhere waiting for you."

Grandpa and Family,

May you know how much you are loved and will be missed. May you know your presence in my life has not and will never be forgotten as I will always cherish the kindness and love you bestowed on me and my family. It takes a man of strength, courage, confidence and selflessness to give from his heart the way you did. From the time I was a little boy, I always remember how excited I got when we would get to visit Grandpa Buzzards house, regardless of the occasion, you always showed genuine love and for that, I am grateful!

While you have passed, your life has left behind joyful memories that will bring comfort those who were blessed to have received the gift of your love.

The Bible does give us the Word of God (the Bible) that will minister to us in all situations in life including times of need. We need to rely on God and His word and know that God will not forsake us. Not for one moment will God forget or forsake us. God is constant. God is Holy and good and sovereign. He knows all and wants us to feel his presence daily in our lives during the times of joyful and sadness!

In closing, let us remember His Word;

Isaiah 41:10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

With Love,

Jarod & Chaunte Myers Family
