David Max Disher

DAVID MAX DISHER, of Fort Wayne, went home to meet Jesus, our Savior, on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Mr. Disher was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Columbus and Lucretia (Lohm) Disher.  He graduated from South Side High School in Fort Wayne in 1960 and attained his associate’s degree in electrical engineering technology from Purdue University, Fort Wayne.  He married Katherine Louise Kemery at the First Christian Church in Fort Wayne.  David was an electrical engineer technician and employed with 3M Company and Raytheon for 30 years before retiring in 2000.  He was an active member of the North Park Community Church in Fort Wayne and also attended Lakewood Park Community Church and was the sound engineer for both churches.  David could fix or repair anything.  He loved music, hi-fi stereo, boating, camping and spending time with his family at the lake.

Survivors include: 
His wife of 54 years, Katherine Disher of Fort Wayne.
Son, Kurt and Mary Disher of Angola.
Daughter, Kelli Stultz of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Three grandsons, Derick, Drew, and Dayne Disher.
Sister, Sandra Poling of Fort Wayne.
Sister, Judy and Frank Wright of Fort Wayne.

Visitation and funeral services will be on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at North Park Community Church, 7160 Flutter Road, Fort Wayne.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm with the funeral service beginning at 1:30 pm.

Officiating the funeral service will be Pastor Scott Qualls.

Burial will be at Hoverstock Cemetery in Zanesville, Indiana.

Memorial donations may be made to North Park Community Church.
