Willie Anderson

William Anderson, age 62, of Avilla, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Parkview Randallia Hospital, Fort Wayne. Mr. Anderson was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania on February 9, 1959 to the late Francis Gerald Anderson, Sr. and Martha (Morishta) Anderson. He graduated from East Noble High School in 1977 and married Tami Lee Deal, his high school sweetheart, on May 24, 1980 at Calvary United Methodist Church in Avilla. Willie was a UPS driver for 30 years. 

Survivors include:
Wife, Tami Anderson of Avilla.
Daughter, Kassie and Cameron Bond of Avilla.
Son, Jeremy and April Anderson of Huntertown.
Three grandchildren: Alexander Bond, Myla Anderson, and Grady Anderson.
Brother, Jerry and Deanna Anderson of Kendallville.
Sister, Melinda and Jeremy Schroeder of Kendallville.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Francis Gerald “Butch” Anderson, Jr. in 2011. 

A memorial service to celebrate Willie’s life will be held Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 12:00 noon at First Assembly of God, 1400 West Washington Center Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46825 with a gathering an hour prior to the service.
