Willa Mae Kitter

Willa Mae Kitter, age 92, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2020 at Sacred Heart Home in Avilla. Mrs. Kitter was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 31, 1928 to Ethel Cortwright. She married Howard B. Kitter in 1973 in Wheaton, Illinois and he preceded her in death in 2012. 

Survivors include:
Son, David Parthun of Fort Wayne.
Daughter, Joy and Michael Kitter of Big Long Lake, Wolcottville.
Daughter, Gayle Sullivan of Bloomingdale, Illinois.
Stepdaughter, Karla and Jeff Canday of Morris, Illinois.
Stepdaughter, Leisa and Keith Greene of Tennessee.
Stepdaughter, Kim and Bob Warning of Indiana.
Stepson, Howard, Jr. and Vicky Kitter of Tennessee.
Stepson, Kim and Allison Kitter of England.
11 grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and a sister, Betty. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard; four children; son, Glenn Gromoll, daughter, Lynn Gruss, son, Dean Parthun, daughter, Darlene Parthun and two sisters.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 30, 2020 at 12:30 PM at Hite Funeral Home with Tom Novy leading the service.
