Warren Weltner Obituary

Warren Weltner, age 89, of New Haven, passed away January 19, 2023 at Majestic Care in Fort Wayne. Mr. Weltner was born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania on September 28, 1933 to the late Allen E. and Ruth L. (Moore) Weltner. He honorably served his country in the United State Marine Corps from 1952-1955 during the Korean War. He married Mary Louise Paulchek on July 9, 1955. He was employed with Honeywell as a computer engineer. He was a member of St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in New Haven and the Knights of Columbus Council 16451. He also belonged to the American Legion Post 330 and V.F.W. Post 2457 and the Marine Corps League all in Fort Wayne.

Survivors include:
Wife, Mary Weltner of New Haven.
Daughter, Lori Weltner of Fort Wayne.
Son, Scott Weltner of Argyl, Texas. 
Two grandchildren, Steven Sheron and Christopher Kuchta.
Son-in-law, Mike Ort of Fort Wayne.
He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Marie Ort; sister, Jean Hayden; brother, Dale Weltner. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, 943 Powers Street, New Haven with visitation at 10:00 AM prior to the service. Fr. Nathan Maskal will officiate the mass. Military honors will follow the funeral mass at the church. 
Memorial donations may be made to St. John The Baptist Church or Wounded Warriors.
