Walter Hardin Majors, Jr., age 73, of Fort Wayne, passed away on September 19, 2024, from complications from ALS. Walt was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on October 1, 1950, to the late Walter Hardin Majors, Sr. and Evelyn Frances (Sherman) Majors. He was a retired delivery driver for FedEx.
Survivors include:
Daughter, Rachel Eileen Majors of Fort Wayne.
Four grandchildren, Taylor Wegrecki, Benson Dice, Alexandria Loop, and Liam Voltz; and three greatgrandchildren, Foxx, Finn, Felix Wegrecki.
Sister, Sherry Darlene (Majors) Dubois of Spring Hill, Florida.
Brother, Denny Joe Majors of Spring Hill, Florida.
Sister, Mary Suette (Majors) Rizzo of Avilla, Indiana.
Sister, Staranna Lou (Majors) Fenstermaker of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Also, many nieces and nephews, including Stephanie Fenstermaker and great niece, Isolde Helen Rose, whom he loved as his own daughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Evelyn Majors; brother, Larry Lee Majors of Kokomo, Indiana; sister, Kedda Nelljean (Majors) Johnston of King City, Missouri; and brother, Sherman Kent Majors Huntington Indiana.
