Ted Paul Wallace, age 84, of Kendallville and Columbia City, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at his home in Columbia City. Ted was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on February 8, 1941, to the late Everett Paul Wallace and Madeline Julia (Blech) Wallace. He graduated from Kendallville High School in 1959 and entered into the United States Air Force where he honorably served his country stationed in Las Vegas from 1961-1965. It was in the military where he studied X-Ray Technology which was the start up to his career. Ted was employed as a Radiological Technologist with McCray Hospital and Parkview Noble Hospital in Kendallville for 41 years from 1966 to April of 2006. He first married Nancy Jane Wallace on March 6, 1971. They were married for 31 years before Nancy preceded him in death in April of 2002. He later married Patricia Diann Wilson on September 27, 2003, in New Haven, Indiana at the United Methodist Church. Ted was also an avid bowler in his younger days and once bowled a 298 game in the early 1980's. He loved the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Indiana Hoosiers, Friday night dinners with his friends, playing golf with his son and his friends, Gaylord Michigan golf trips, attending a plethora of events for his grandchildren, spending time at his home on Round Lake, near Columbia City, and bird watching.

Son, Steven and Marie of Kendallville, Indiana.
Daughter, Jennifer Wallace of Noblesville, Indiana.
Three granddaughters, Hannah Wallace, Molly Wallace, Sophia Wallace all of Kendallville and Fort Wayne.
Stepdaughter, Angela and William Hicks of Haviland, Ohio.
Stepdaughter, Tracy and Justo Donias of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Eleven step grandchildren: Shelbie (Sean) Klimek of Clermont, Florida; Shantell (Matt) Stezowski of Groveland, Florida; Sheridan Asher of Fort Wayne, Indiana; Courtney (Anthony) Salisbury of Rockford, Ohio; Alicia (Kyle) Childs of Payne, Ohio; Kathleen Donias of Pendleton, Indiana; Ryan (Hannah) Donias of Fort Wayne; Andrew Hicks of Haviland, Ohio; Lily Donias of Fort Wayne; Jude Donias of Fort Wayne; and Louis Donias of Fort Wayne. Thirteen step great grandchildren also survive.
Brother, David Wallace current resides in Weeki Wachee, Florida.
Ted was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Madeline Wallace; his first wife, Nancy Wallace; brother, Charles Wallace; and sister, Pamela Williams.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Hite Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Novy officiating. There will also visitation at 9:00 AM prior to the service.
Burial will take place next to Nancy at Lake View Cemetery in Kendallville.
