Sue (Stroman) Huff

Sue Catherine (Stroman) Huff, age 94, of Kendallville, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Sue was born in Helmer, Indiana, on October 21, 1930, to the late Doyne E. Stroman and Hazel L. (Poppy) Stroman. She graduated from Kendallville High School in 1948 and married William E. Huff on October 2, 1949, at the Mitchell Street Methodist Church in Kendallville. Bill preceded her in death on December 23, 1999. Along with her brother, Darol, Sue co-owned Stroman Electronics for 53 years, a business they began in 1953. Sue was very involved in the past with her church, Trinity Church United Methodist, in Kendallville. She also was a member of the Lady Elks. 

Survivors include:
Daughter, Cathy and Michael Patrick of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Granddaughter, Nichole and Matthew Greenlee of Denver, Colorado.
Grandsons, Corey Patrick of Wyoming, Michigan and Ryan Patrick of Traverse City, Michigan.
Brother, Darol and Karen Stroman of The Villages, Florida.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Doyne and Hazel Stroman; husband, Bill Huff; and a son, Brad Huff, who died in 2013. 

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 14, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Hite Funeral Home with Rev. Drew Baker officiating.
Burial will follow at Lake View Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Trinity Church.
