Steven Cassady

Steven Wesley Cassady, age 91, of Fort Wayne, died April 2, 2025, at Stillwater Hospice in Fort Wayne. Mr. Cassady was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on May 31, 1933, to the late Raymond and Vivian (Lamborne) Cassady. He honorably served his country in the United States Army from 1960-1962 earning the rank of Private First Class. He graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor's degree in business. He married Barbara Joan Railsback on October 20, 1962, in Fort Wayne and she survives him. Steve owned and operated Hillman's, a china dishware store in Fort Wayne. 

Survivors include:
Wife: Barbara Railsback Cassady of Fort Wayne. 
Daughter: Ann Marguerite Cassady of Arizona.
Son: Matthew Wesley Cassady of Fort Wayne.
Grandson: Wesley Steven Sery
Granddaughter: May Juniper Sery
Granddaughter: Elle Vivian Cassady
Nephews: Jeff Castell, Mark Castell, and Kelly Castell 

A memorial service will be held at a later date at Aldergate United Methodist Church in Fort Wayne.
