Shirley Kohl

Shirley Gail Kohl, age 88, passed away peacefully December 25, 2023, surrounded by her family. Shirley was born in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania on January 22, 1935 to the late Oliver and Nettie McCready.

She served in the Army at West Point 1953-1955. She is preceded in her death by both here parents, many sisters and one brother. 

She was also preceded in death by the love of her life, Joseph R. Kohl, son, Joseph Jr. and son, Robert. 

She is survived by Cheryl Krieg, James Kohl, Richard (Jennifer) Kohl and Thomas (Meg) Kohl. As well as 10 grandkids, 16 great grandkids and one great great granddaughter. 

She enjoyed bowling, dancing, singing with Sweet Adeline’s, traveling with her friend Nancy Maines, spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids.

Celebration of Life will take place in the spring of 2024.
