Obituary

Sheila Ann Butler, 53 of Kendallville, passed away peacefully on May 26th, 2022. Sheila was born in Kendallville, Indiana on December 15th, 1968. She is the daughter of Karen Spencer of Albion, Indiana and Max and Brenda Berkes also of Albion. She grew up in Albion and never strayed too far from home. She graduated from Central Noble High School in 1988. She worked in various factories over the years. 

She is survived by her parents; two daughters, Melissa (Matthew) Carter of Milford, Indiana and Shelby Dean (Butler) of Albion, Indiana; one son, Randy Harden of Kentucky. Sisters: Phillena Berkes of Albion, Sabrina Smolek of Ohio, and Shelly Anderson of Albion. Brothers: Marc (Beth) Spencer of Wolf Lake, Indiana; Matt (Amber) Spencer of Albion; and Max Berkes Jr. of Albion. Five grandchildren: Charlotte Dean and Jax Dean of Albion; and 3 grandsons of Kentucky.  Several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her stepfather, David Spencer; twin brothers, Keith and Kevin Spencer; and maternal grandmother, Imo Jean Wilson.

There will be a gathering of family and friends on Sunday June 5th, 2022 at the American Legion Post 246, 410 East Park Drive Albion, Indiana 46701 from 12:00pm to 4:00pm. All are welcome.
