Obituary
Salley Elaine Sherman, age 73, of Albion, passed away July 30, 2022 at Parkview Whitley Hospital in Columbia City. Mrs. Sherman was born in Hammond, Indiana on August 3, 1948 to the late Dale and Ila (Dorsett) Black. She graduated from North Webster High School in 1967 and Ravenscroft Beauty College. She married Willard Wayne Sherman on April 18, 1966 in Angola. Salley was employed with Parker-Hannifin in Albion for 16 years.
Survivors include:
Husband, Willard Sherman of Albion.
Son, Dale and Anita Sherman of Albion.
Daughter, Symantha and Jeff Dull of Albion.
Daughter, Tonya and Travis McClellan of Wolf Lake.
Five grandchildren: Josh and Mallory Dull of Albion; Kammi and Andrew McGill of Albion; Kayla Dull of Albion; Tayler and Chris Bertholf of Columbia City and Zachery Maloney of Columbia City.
Eight great grandchildren: Bentley, Emersyn, Eliana, Wyatt, Waylon, Charlotte, Lillian, and Natalie.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a half-brother, Gilbert Black.
Visitation and funeral services will be held Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Burr Oak Baptist Church, 501 W. 200 S., Albion, Indiana.
Visitation will take place from 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 6:00 PM with Pastor Ben Sexton officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to Burr Oak Baptist Church.
