Roger Dale Waggoner, age 70, of Kendallville, passed away unexpectedly March 3, 2025, at his residence. Roger was born in Huntington, Indiana, on October 25, 1954, to the late Richard Leon Waggoner and Ida Marie (Thornton) Waggoner. He graduated from Huntington North High School. He was employed by the Budd Company and United Technologies.
Roger loved spending time with his grandkids by going to the library, taking them to the park, attending their sporting events and extracurriculars, reading books and doing puzzles. He is a huge dog lover and loved all of the doggies. He especially loved spoiling his grand doggies, Ingrid, Iris and Molly. He loved tending to his garden in the summer and sharing his harvest. His garden was his pride and joy in the summer, and he loved to share his harvest with friends, family and neighbors. He enjoyed keeping his mind active by doing word puzzles and keeping his body active and healthy by going for walks and going to the YMCA and always trying to eat lean with lots of fruits and vegetables.
Roger was a kind and selfless man who always kept busy by doing things for others by picking up groceries for his kids, shoveling his neighbor's driveways or just jumping in and helping whenever and wherever he was needed. Roger was a one-of-a-kind man who was loved by so many.
