Robert Sutton Obituary

Robert Dwight Sutton, age 75, of Hudson, passed away with his family by his side on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Betz Nursing Home in Auburn. Mr. Sutton was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on October 26, 1948, to the late Harley Sutton and Eldora Anna Irene (Herbst) Sutton. He graduated from East Noble High School in 1967 and entered into the United States Army where he honorably served his country during the Vietnam War. He was employed early on with International Harvester. Later, he was a repair technician with MCI and KDL communication companies. Robert married Alta Ellen Conn on February 27, 1999, at the Independent Full Gospel Church in Ashley. Robert became a strong, Bible believing, devoted Christian man later in life. He loved his cats and dogs. He was a gentle man but could be stubborn at times. He was a very polite person who looked on the bright side and rarely complained. Bob was a hard-working man who never liked sitting still for very long. He enjoyed tending to his vegetable garden and going fishing.
