Robert Shea, Jr.

Robert Shea, Jr., 74, of Fort Wayne, passed away on April 9th at Kingston Care Center. Robert was born on April 2, 1946 to Mary Jane and Robert Shea, Sr. in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  After graduating from Bishop Luers High School, he served in the Army during the Vietnam war.  He retired in 2002 after working for BAE System Controls for 37 years and was a retired volunteer for Washington Township Volunteer Fire Department.

Robert is survived by his wife, Patricia; his children Kim (John) Richards, Karen Shea, Julie (Tom) Goodman and Elice (Brian) DeRoos; grandchildren; Kellee, Shellee, Kelsey, Macy, Jakob, Kylee, Dominic and Morgan; great granddaughters McKenzie and Hailee; and many close nieces and nephews.  Robert was proceeded in death by his parents, sister Patricia and brother Michael.                                                                               

A private funeral will be held for his family on April 11, 2020. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Holy Cross Lutheran Church or Cross Borders in Fort Wayne.
