Obituary

Robert Lee Albaugh, age 89, of Kendallville, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Lutheran Life Villages in Kendallville. Robert was born in Kendallville, Indiana on December 20, 1933 to the late Clarence Louis Albaugh and Kathryn Sue (Marshall) Albaugh. Robert enjoyed living on Henry Street in Kendallville for many years where got to know his neighbors and made many friends. He loved spending time with his family and loved to dress up and look nice. Robert enjoyed going bowling and participating in Special Olympics. He was a dedicated employee of ARC of Noble County in Albion.

Survivors include:
Brother, Jerry and Claudia Albaugh of Shipshewana and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Betty L. Hanson; and a brother, Dean Albaugh. 

Visitation will be held Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM. Pastor Pete Mengehello, chaplain at Lutheran Life Villages, will officiate the funeral service for Robert. Robert will be buried later next to his parents at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
