Ricky Capps

Ricky Lee Capps, age 65, of Bluffton, died January 19, 2023 at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. Mr. Capps was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on October 28, 1957 to the late Jesse Samuel Capps, Sr. and Mary Lou (Anderson) Swank. He graduated from Elmhurst High School in 1975. He honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1980-1988. He was employed for many years by United Parcel Service.

Survivors include:
Daughter, Mary Capps of Fort Wayne.
Daughter, Karen Capps Michels of Fort Wayne.  
Daughter, Richelle Capps of Fort Wayne.
Son, Ricky Lee (Kristen) Capps, Jr. of Bluffton.
Nine grandchildren.
Sister, Eva and Vince Closson of Fort Wayne.
Brother, Jesse Capps, Jr. of Fort Wayne.
Sister, Angela and Brian Shady of Fort Wayne.
Sister, Rebecca Teegarden of Auburn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Mary Lou; two sisters, Marilyn Fletcher and Patricia Ruane.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at 12:00 noon at Pathway Community Church, 1010 Carroll Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation at 10:30 AM prior to the service.
Burial with military honors will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
