Indiana, the daughter of Gene and Donna (Frederick) Acker.  She grew up on Pleasant Point in Rome City, Indiana and spent the next 40 years of her life there raising her own family until moving from Sylvan Lake to her dream home of a log cabin out in the country.

Rhonda was a 1975 graduate of East Noble High School.  After graduation, she spent the next 30 years working at Lincoln National Corporation in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  After leaving Lincoln, she worked at Parkview Hospital in LaGrange, Indiana until retiring in 2019. Rhonda loved being with her family and friends, boating, fishing, camping, going to car shows, playing cards and board games, and shopping for bargains at the Shipshewana Flea Market.  She also loved taking care of her flowers and plants.  She was a phenomenal cook.  Nobody was ever going to turn down her homemade noodles or stuffed shells.  She was a fan of Indiana basketball and enjoyed listening to all types of music.
