Reverend Robert Lee Neace, age 91, of Kendallville, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2023 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Mr. Neace was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 2, 1932 to the late Charles F. Neace and Frances Mays Neace. He graduated from Denby High School in Detroit in 1951 and attended Anderson University for three years. He married Joane Kay Trick on June 27, 1954 in Anderson, Indiana. Rev. Neace began his ministry at age of 22 with the Church of God in 1954. He never stopped preaching, evangelizing and teaching the Word of God until age 89! His ministry took he and his bride, Joane, all over the United States including Kentucky, Missouri, Illinois, California to Kendallville and Ashley, Indiana to finish out his career in 2021. What an incredible legacy and deep Christian heritage Rev. Neace has left us all to follow! To God be the glory!

Son, Rev. Dale Alan and Lori Neace of Mannford, Oklahoma.
Son, David Lee and Dawn Neace of Kendallville.
Son, Terry Lynn and Marla Neace of Greenwood, Missouri.
12 grandchildren including: Angela (Sean) Callahan of Mineola, Texas; Chrystal (Jeremie) Thompson of Van, Texas; Timothy (Becky) Busch of Bristow, Oklahoma; David (Michelle) Busch of Canton, Texas; Rhana (Derek) Garrison of Mannford, Oklahoma; Blake Nease of Mannford, Oklahoma; Brett (Cassidy) Neace of Mannford, Oklahoma; Colby Neace of Mannford, Oklahoma; Matthew (Carissa) Neace of Fort Wayne, Indiana; Shad Neace of Oro Valley, Arizona; Andrew (Janet) Neace of New Haven, Indiana; and Alyson (Seth) Sergeant-Neace of Greenwood, Missouri.
12 great grandchildren also survive.
Brother, Russell C. Neace of Miami, Florida.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Estel Neace and a sister, Ora Marshall.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 24, 2023 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 25, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Hite Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at Lake View Cemetery in Kendallville.
