Reed Resinger Obituary

Reed Linn Resinger, 60, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2022, in Parkview Regional Medical Center, at 2:30 p.m. Reed was born January 10, 1962, in Bonne Terre, Missouri, to Alfred and Ruth (Welch) Resinger. He was raised in Farmington, Missouri, and graduated from Farmington High School in 1980. Several years later, he answered the call to preach and graduated from Hillsdale Free Will Baptist Bible College with an Associates of Arts, and from California Christian College with a Bachelor of Science. Reed was ordained to preach the gospel in April, 1989, and pastored several churches in the United States. Reed's greatest love was his family.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer (McAllister) Resinger; his son, Caleb (Melissa) Resinger; his daughter, Caitlin (Ruben) Cantu; grandchildren: Harley Resinger, McKeehan Cantu, Harlow Cantu, and Tandy Resinger; his mother, Ruth Bayless; his sisters: Debbie (Lonnie) Bamer and Pam Blackwell; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; and his brothers, Mark Resinger and Bruce Resinger.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 30th, at Noon, at New Haven United Methodist Church in New Haven, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
