Ray Manns, age 77, of Kendallville, died unexpectedly Monday, March 29, 2021 at home. Ray was born in Wayland, Kentucky on July 31, 1943 to the late James and Nora (Allen) Manns. He was a foundryman and employed with Lane Foundry and Kendallville Foundry. He married Nadine Hale in 1963 in Albion and she preceded him in death in 2018. He recently married Patricia Marie Marcum on December 1, 2020.

Daughter, Tina Manns of Kendallville.
Son, Jeff Manns of Kendallville.
Grandchildren Brandon Manns, Brittney Manns, Sabra Mendenhall, Brent Manns, Ryan Manns, and Blake Manns and a great-grandchild, Owen Manns.
Brother, Buddy Manns of Corunna.
Brother, Jimmy and Dorothy Manns of Kendallville.
Brother, Bobby Manns of Kendallville.
Sister, Cleta Knox of Kendallville.
Sister, Oma Jean Howard of Detroit.
Sister, Mattie Slone of Kendallville.
Sister, Willa and Walker Tackett of Kendallville.
Sister, Louetta and Jim Hale of Kendallville.
Sister, Linda and Dan Alter of Kendallville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nadine; son, Timothy in 2005; brothers, Claude and James Jr; sisters, Ella Faye Handshoe, Christine Moor, Lorean Hamdin; and sisters-in-law, Judy Manns, Wilma Manns and Dorothy Manns.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 3:00 – 7:00 PM at Harbor of Love Baptist Church with a service at 7:00 PM.
A funeral service will be held Friday, April 2, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Harbor of Love with Rev. Charles Mosley officiating.
Burial will follow at Christian Union Cemetery near Garrett.
