Phil Molargik Obituary

Phillip Stephen Molargik, age 81, of Harlan, died Wednesday, October 7, 2020. Mr. Molargik was born near Churubusco, Indiana on April 23, 1939 to the late Anthony G. and Lois Marie (Gaff) Molargik. He honorably served his country in the United States Navy from 1956-1960. He married Penelope Jones. She preceded him in death in 2006. Phil was a trailer mechanic and employed with Fruehauf Trailers before retiring in 2001. 

Survivors include:
Daughter, Tammy Hathaway of Woodburn.
Daughter, Lisa and David Korte of Woodburn.
Daughter, Charity and Clark Brown of Fort Wayne.
Five grandchildren: Sean Luker and Amber Stillwell of Woodburn; Lindsay and Andy Eubank of Woodburn; Chad Korte of Woodburn; Taylor and Kyle Profit of VanWert, Ohio; and Sierra Brown of Fort Wayne. Seven great grandchildren.
Brother, Dale Molargik of Georgia.
Sister, Sandra Dolan of Fort Wayne.
He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Ean Lucker in 2018 and a brother, Donald Molargik.

Services will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at 1:00 PM in the fellowship hall at the Zion Lutheran Church, 7616 Bull Rapids Road, Woodburn, Indiana with visitation an hour prior to the service. 
Burial with military honors will take place at Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne. 
Arrangements by Northern Indiana Funeral Care.
