Mike Kline Obituary

Michael Patrick Kline, age 80, of Williams Lake near Albion, passed away February 22, 2023 at Parkview Randallia Hospital, Fort Wayne. Mike was born in Kendallville, Indiana on July 13, 1942 to the late Raymond Ray Kline and Bonnie Eilene (Gustin) Williams. He graduated from Rome City High School in 1961. He was employed most of his working career with Newnam Foundry in Kendallville before retiring in 2005. Mike first was married to Carol Ann (Meyers) Kline on January 8, 1961. She preceded him in death on October 7, 1993. He later married Emma Louise Thompson on November 19, 1994 in the gazebo at Bixler Lake in Kendallville. Mike was passionate about building racing stock cars and fishing on Williams Lake. 

Survivors include:
Wife, Emma Kline of Albion.
Son, Mike and Pam Kline of Rome City.
Daughter, Melinda and Lewis Shepherd of Topeka.
Grandchildren, Luke and Bridgett Kline of Wawaka and Josh and Talyssa Shepherd of LaGrange.
Great grandchildren, Easton Kline, Griffin Kline, Piper Kline, and Kaden Shepherd. 
Stepdaughter, Robin and Jeffrey Scare of Fort Wayne.
Stepdaughter, Lori and Tadd Meyer of Columbia City.
Stepson, Scott and Mellanie Addis of California.
Step grandchildren, Colin Hill, Tyler Meyer, and Caden Meyer. 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Bonnie; wife, Carol; son, Mark Robert Kline in 2017, brother, Raymond “Sonny” Kline; stepbrother, Jack Stevens and stepsister, Carolyn Williams. 
Sister, Roxy Sands of Orlando, Florida.
Sister, Paula Fox of Kendallville.
Brother, Steve and Trina Kline of Albion.
Sister, Kathy Kline of Columbia City.
Stepsister, Betty Lou and Jim Hendrix of Rome City.
Stepbrother, Walter and Glenda Stevens of Kendallville.
Stepbrother, Kent and Todd Stevens of Auburn.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 27th from 3-7:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home, Kendallville.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Hite Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at Orange Cemetery near Rome City.
Casket bearers will be Luke Kline, Josh Shepherd, Steve Kline, Ryan Kline, Scott Addis and Kyle Fox. 
Memorial donations may be made to Noble County Humane Shelter.
