Michele (Martinez) Jordan

Michele Lynn (Martinez) Jordan, age 56, died May 1, 2026, at her home in Kendallville. Michele was born in Jackson, Michigan, on November 16, 1969, to the late Anthony Louis Martinez and Constance Lee (Higgins) Martinez. Both parents preceded her in death. She was married in the past to John Jordan who survives in Kendallville. Michele was employed as a dietary aide with local nursing homes and as a cashier at WalMart. Other survivors include her children; son, Ian Jordan, son, Jacob Lawson, daughter, Allie Jordan, and son Ben Jordan all of Kendallville; grandson, Konner Jordan of Kendallville; brother, Martinez of Brainerd, Minnesota; brother, Mark Martinez of Kendallville; brother, Kevin and Carrie Martinez of Kendallville; and two nieces, Katie Martinez and Nikki Martinez. 

The family is planning a gathering to celebrate Michele's life in June at a Bixler Lake pavilion.
