Marjorie Jesse

Marjorie Anne Jesse, age 90, went to her heavenly home on May 5, 2023 at her residence in Yoder, Indiana following a short illness. Born January 17, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Dr. Richard and Marion Jesse. Marge retired from Lincoln National Life Insurance Company after more than 32 years of service. She was a member of St. Michael Lutheran Church and was active in their Altar Guild. She is survived by her cousins Susan Schmit of Prescott, Arizona; Richard Staats of Phoenix, Arizona; and Edward Staats of St. Louis, Missouri. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Alfred and Edward. 

A funeral service will be held at St. Michael Lutheran Church, 2131 Getz Road, Fort Wayne on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at 10:00 AM with viewing one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Lake View Cemetery in Kendallville. Preferred memorials may be made to St. Michael Lutheran Church Altar Guild. Arrangements entrusted to Hite Funeral Home, Kendallville.
