Margaret (Shepherd) Wisniewski

Margaret Kay (Shepherd) Wisniewski, age 69, of Kendallville, passed away at her home Thursday, August 28, 2025. Margaret was born at McCray Hospital in Kendallville, Indiana on October 16, 1955, to the late Loyd "Claude" Shepherd and Vada F. (Edwards) Shepherd. She attended East Noble High School and became a successful businesswoman. She owned and operated Accurate Pest Control for more than 30 years and grew the very successful business to what it is today. She married Kenneth Joseph Wisniewski on January 21, 1994, in Kendallville. Margaret loved working, growing flowers and tending to her flower beds, gardening, bird watching, and feeding the ducks and geese at Bixler Lake. 

Survivors include:
Husband, Ken Wisniewski of Kendallville. 
Son, Chad and Mandee Prince of Kendallville.
Son, Shawn and Amber Prince of Rome City. 
Four grandchildren: Ethan Prince of Fort Wayne; Alexis Shaffer of Kendallville; Adrianna (Ryan) Londini of Garrett; and Ruby Sprague of Kendallville. One great granddaughter, Melody Bowser. 
Two stepdaughters, Shonna Wisniewski and Abigail Wisniewski. 
Brother, Gene Shepherd of St. Louis, Missouri.
Brother, Michael Shepherd of Kendallville. 

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Claude (September 7, 2003) and Vada Shepherd (June 17, 2023); brothers, Brad Shepherd (May 29, 2003) and Loyd Shepherd, Jr. (October 8, 2012).

Private funeral services will be held at Hite Funeral Home and burial will take place at Lake View Cemetery in Kendallville. 
Memorial donations may be made in Margaret's name to Noble County Humane Society in Kendallville.
