Mae Owens Obituary

Hager “Mae” Owens, age 77, of Kendallville, passed away January 18, 2022 at Parkview Randallia Hospital in Fort Wayne. Mrs. Owens was born in Napfor, Perry County, Kentucky on January 10, 1945 to the late Morris and Grace (Morris) Stidham. She married Orbin Owens on November 17, 1973 and she was a homemaker.

Survivors include:
Daughter, Rayette and Bernard Lemish of Kendallville.
Stepdaughter, Teresa and Dan Smith of Coldwater, Michigan.
Stepson, Scott and Amanda Owens of Huntington.
Eight grandchildren: Christopher and Rhonda Lemish of Noblesville; Tiffani and Josh Hovarter of Albion; Robert Smith of Osseo, Michigan; Lucas Smith of Coldwater, Michigan; Kerin and Duncan Miller of North Carolina; Ashley and Nick Hubbard of Fort Wayne; Caitlyn Owens of Fort Wayne; and Mazie Owens of Huntington. Also 9 great grandchildren.
Brother, Vernon and Betty Stidham of Burr Oak, Michigan.
Sister, Alleen and Gordon Salisbury of Kendallville.
Sister, Audrey Neace of Hazard, Kentucky.
Sister, Mary Stidham of Hazard, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her son, Randall Combs in 2021; sisters, Gearldean Hoskins and Geneva “Hootch” Sizemore; and brothers, Morris “Bud” Stidham, Marshall Stidham, Donnie Stidham, and Roy Stidham.
