Lynn Liebing

Lynn Wright Liebing, age 87, of Avilla, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at his residence. Mr. Liebing was born in Kendallville, Indiana on December 2, 1935 to the late Paul Edward Liebing and Idress Wiona (Wright) Liebing. He graduated from Kendallville High School in 1954. He married Lois Louise Dressler on February 7, 1975 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Avilla. Lynn retired as plant manager at Reliable Tool & Machine in Kendallville after 45 years of service. After he retired, Lynn took up woodworking and furniture building. He also enjoyed taking care of his yard and spending time in the woods behind his house. 

Survivors include:
Wife, Lois Liebing of Avilla.
Daughter, Lynnette Liebing of Avilla.
Son, Michael and Jody Liebing of Huntertown.
Son-in-law, Gary Wilkinson of Columbus, Indiana.
Five grandchildren including Ty and Sylvia Bloomfield of Avilla; Katie Wilkinson of Indianapolis; Preston and Abby Liebing of Albion; Lauren Liebing of Huntertown; and Candice Carter of Avilla. Also 9 great grandchildren. 
Lynn was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathleen Wilkinson (2023); sister, Shirley Beiswanger; and brother, Paul Liebing.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 10th from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville.

Funeral services will also be held Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 12:00 PM.

Burial will follow at Swan Cemetery near LaOtto.

Memorial donations may be made to Honor Flight of Northeast Indiana.
