Kitty (Carter) DeCamp

Kitty Marie DeCamp, age 92, of Fort Wayne and Grabill, died May 23, 2023 at home. Kitty was born in Churubusco, Indiana on March 9, 1931 to the late James Wyatt Carter and Fern Marie (Corbin) Carter. She graduated from Churubusco High School and married Raymond DeCamp who preceded her in death in 1990. Ray and Kitty owned and operated The Alpine Inn and The Grabill Inn for many years. 

Survivors include:
Daughter and son-in-law, Ginger and Dick Paris of Fort Wayne.
Daughter-in-law, Candy DeCamp of Fort Wayne.
Granddaughter, Nicole DeCamp and David Auriti of Fort Wayne.
Granddaughter, Sarah and Jeff Clark of Fort Wayne.
Great grandchildren: Cash Auriti and Maddie Clark.
Brother, Steve and Beverly Carter of Columbia City.
Brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Russell and Bonnie DeCamp of Kendallville.
Kitty was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ray; her son, Skyler DeCamp in 2015; and a sister, Joann Crance. 

Kitty was laid to rest next to her husband, Ray at Blue River Cemetery, Thorncreek Township, Whitley County, Indiana.
