Kelly Jean (Parks) Bolen, 64, of Kendallville, our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, was called home to meet our savior Jesus Christ on October 10, 2025, at her home after a long and courageous battle with Stage IV metastatic breast cancer.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7
Kelly was born on August 3, 1961, to the late Clifford and Joann Parks in Kendallville, IN. She married Robert Eugene Bolen on October 5, 1979, at Avilla Calvary United Methodist Church in Avilla. They celebrated 46 years of marriage this month. Kelly was the heart and soul of her family, known for her kindness and infectious laughter. She found great joy in spending time with her family, with a particular fondness for her grandchildren.

Grandchildren: Tristin Haney, Addison Schultz, Ava Schultz, Reagan Haney, and Remington Haney
Brother: Kevin (Tami) Parks of Kendallville
Brother: Larry Parks of Tallahassee
Her cherished dog, Ruby
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Joann Parks; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bernis and Geraldine Bolen; granddaughter, Haley Haney.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 14th from 3:00 - 7:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville, Indiana.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 15th, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Hite Funeral Home. Rev. Earl Bolen will officiate the service.
Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Kendallville. Casket bearers will be Kevin Parks, Scott Haney, Paul Rouch, Eli Parks, Tristin Haney and Ava Schultz. Honorary bearers will be Addison Schultz, Reagan Haney and Remington Haney.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cancer Services of NE Indiana or to the family to put towards expenses.
