Kathy Watts

Katherine Jo “Kathy” (Cox) Watts, aged 49, passed away unexpectedly in her home Friday morning, January 3, 2025. Kathy was born in Marion, Indiana on April 21, 1975, to the late James “Jimmy” Cox and Jodi Lynn (Hogle) Robinson. Kathy was a homemaker for many years who loved to travel, having visited Texas, Florida, and many other states. She loved to crochet, color, and cook. She was the community mom, and adopted many of her children’s friends are her own. She was a very kind and loving woman.

She is survived by her husband, Christopher Michael Lynn Watts of Kendallville, Indiana.
Daughter, Cheyenna Royal-Watts of Kendallville.
Son, Josiah Stanley of Gas City.
Son, Justin Watts of Peru, Indiana.
Son, Dylan (Amber Urbanski) Watts of Kendallville.
Grandchildren: Carter, Hendrix, Amara, and Kalina of Kendallville.
Sister, Brittany McKethan of Madison, North Carolina.
Brother, James Cox of Dallas, Texas.
Many nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her Aunt Rosa Phelps, and her mother-in-law Wanda Watts.
