Karen H. Jennings passed away on January 25th, 2022 at Cameron Memorial Community Hospital in Angola, IN at the age of 74. Karen was born March 3rd, 1947 in Ft. Wayne, IN. to the late Floyd and Marian (Boyd) Hill. Karen graduated from Northside High School in Ft. Wayne, IN in 1964 where she was a member of the speech and journalism club. She was proud of the fact that she was on the water ballet team, the Ripplettes, and would often talk about it throughout her life. Being an artist herself, she loved art of all types, she made the most lavish wedding cakes for friends and family. She was active in church, school, and community during her years living in Ft. Wayne. She married Richard “Dan” M. Jennings III, in Angola, IN on September 1st, 1979. She and Dan enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Anyone that knew her, knew that she was a social butterfly and made friends wherever she went. She and Dan loved animals, having dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, and fish at various times throughout their lives.
Forever in our hearts, she leaves behind; 2 children, Christopher Jennings of Palm Beach Gardens, Fl and Della Jennings (Mark Franks) of Avilla, IN and 4 step children; Richard “Dick” (Julie) Jennings of Punta Gorda, FL., Robert “Bob” (Jamie) Jennings of Scottsdale, AZ., Jenifer (Jeffrey) Warner of Huntertown, IN., and Salli (Terry) Swift of Malaysia., and 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She is proceeded in death by her husband Dan, of 35 years, 2 brothers; Steven Hill and Douglas Hill and grandson Chase M. Warner.
