John Franklin Sowards, age 79, of Fort Wayne, passed away February 1, 2023 at Parkview Randallia Hospital, Fort Wayne. John was born in Bluffton, Indiana on February 8, 1943 to the late Joseph and Bertha (Wertzberger) Sowards. He graduated from Bluffton High School in 1961 and honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. His daughter, Lynn Johnson of New Haven survives. No funeral services scheduled.
