John Hippenhammer

John Henry Hippenhammer, age 77, formerly of Kendallville, died Thursday, April 4, 2024, at The Waters of LaGrange, LaGrange, Indiana. John was born in Kendallville, Indiana on March 23, 1947 to the late Rolland and Evelyn (Schlabach) Hippenhammer. He married Cassandra Sue Scheinlang on June 26, 1971 in Rome City, Indiana. She preceded him in death December 17, 2010. John was employed 26 years with Newnam Foundry in Kendallville. 

Survivors include:
Sister, Barbara and James Ausderan of LaGrange. 
Brother, Roy and Nancy Hippenhammer of Adams Lake, Wolcottville.
Brother, Donald and Marcia Hippenhammer of Howe.
Many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. 
John was preceded in death by his parents, Rolland and Evelyn Hippenhammer; his wife, Cassandra; and a brother, Rickie Gene Hippenhammer.

Visititation will be held Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville followed by a funeral service at 6:00 PM with Pastor Jerry Burghduff officiating.
