John Addington Obituary

John Lee Addington, age 76, of Bear Lake, near Albion, Indiana, passed away January 11, 2023 at Kendallville Manor Healthcare. Mr. Addington was born near Portland, Jay County, Indiana on March 4, 1946 to the late Raymond Lewis and Eileen Louise Addington. He graduated from Wolf Lake High School in 1964, was drafted in 1966 and honorably served his country in the United States Army. He was a lifetime farmer. He loved cooking and living at Bear Lake. John enjoyed golf cart rides around the lake and talking with everyone. He was a caring person who loved helping others.

Survivors include:
Son, Scott and Michelle Addington
Son, Shane and Donna Addington
Grandchildren: Harley Addington, Alex Addington, and Taylor Addington.
Sisters, Deola Bond, Linda Chapman, and Mary Lou Belts.
8 nieces & 2 nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Eileen Addington, and brothers in-law, Charles Chapman and Glenn Bond.
