Gerald Dale Tackett, age 60, of Kendallville, died January 29, 2023 at Parkview Randallia Hospital in Fort Wayne. Jerry was born in Kendallville, Indiana on January 3, 1963 to the late Earl and Donna (Gallagher) Tackett.
Survivors include:
Son, Ashley Earl Tackett of Auburn.
Son, Tori Nathaniel Tackett of Hudson.
Stepdaughter, Ganetta Boehme of Albion.
Mother of his children, Carroll Tackett of Hudson.
Sister, Janet Allen of Kendallville.
Sister, Carol McDaniels (Rex, deceased) of Kendallville.
Sister, Linda and David Capocy of Florence, Arizona.
Brother, Sheldon “Skeeter” and Linda Tackett of Powhatan, Virginia.
Many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 2, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home with Pastor David Bolen officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Orange Cemetery near Rome City.
