Jerry Dimond

Jerry Milton Dimond, age 77, of Fort Wayne, passed away unexpectedly February 10, 2023 at home. Mr. Dimond was born May 26, 1945 in Huntington, Indiana to the late John William Dimond and Joanna Jane (Souers) Dimond. He married Stephanie “Penny” Helvie on October 29, 1966 at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Huntington. Penny preceded him in death December 7, 2015. He later married Saundra Kay Taylor and she also preceded him in death just recently on December 26, 2022. Jerry was an insurance sales representative with Advocate Financial in Fort Wayne.

Survivors include:
Daughter, Renee (Matthew) Schiebel of Fort Wayne.
Daughter, Holly Richards of Fort Wayne.
Five grandchildren: Ashley (Justin) Mould, Keaton Richards, Michael Richards, Lauren Schiebel and her fiancé, Brennan Biddle, and Andrew Schiebel all of Fort Wayne. Two great grandchildren: Zoey and Raylee Mould. 
Sister, Jodie McDaniel of Warren, Indiana.
Sister, Pam (Steve) Summers of Greenwood, Indiana.
Sister, Jill (John) Hoffman of Danville, Pennsylvania.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 12:00 noon at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Road, Fort Wayne with Fr. Thomas Shoemaker officiating the mass. Calling will be held 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM prior to the mass. Burial will take place later at Catholic Cemetery.
