Jean (Sawyer) Peachy

Marion Jean Peachy, age 76, of Kendallville, passed away July 14, 2024, at Sacred Heart Home in Avilla. Jean was born in Glen Ridge, New Jersey on July 14, 1948, to the late Clifford Lewis Sawyer and Gertrude Jane (Dixon) Sawyer. She graduated from high school in Louisville, Kentucky and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Indiana University. She married David Allen Peachy on August 23, 1975, in Louisville, Kentucky. 

Survivors include:
Husband, David Peachy of Kendallville.
Daughter, Lisa and Jared Olivetti of West Lafayette, Indiana.
Daughter, Tamera Jane Peachy of Kendallville.
Son, Zachary Richard Peachy of Sewickley, Pennsylvania.
Six grandchildren.
Brother, Phillip and Sara Sawyer of Chandler, Arizona.
Sister, Martha Rust of New Albany, Indiana. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Deborah Peachy Thomas in 2012; and a brother. 

No visitation or services scheduled. Privat burial will take place in Lake View Cemetery in Kendallville.
