Obituary
James Jerry Handshoe, age 67, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023 at his home in Butler. James was born in Dayton, Ohio on December 8, 1955 to Willie Handshoe and Nannie (Gibson) Handshoe. His mother survives him in Kendallville. He honorably served his country for six years in the United States Marine Corps. He married Deloris Mae Sexton, and she survives in Butler, Indiana.

Daughter, Stacey Soule of Butler.
Son, Steven Handshoe of Utah.
Grandson, Jason Soule and his daughter, great granddaughter, Piper Soule both of Butler.
Brother, Hubert and Annie Handshoe of Reading, Michigan.
Sister, Jean Handshoe of Kendallville.
Sister, Norma Lou and Dallas Howard of Reading, Michigan.
Sister, Paula Handshoe of Kendallville.
Brother, Grayson and Marina Handshoe of Reading, Michigan.
Sister, Alyssa Handshoe of Texas.
Gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, May 3, 2023 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville.
