Inez (Gregory) Blake

Inez Mae Blake, age 81, of Kendallville, died Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at the Kendallville Manor. Mrs. Blake was born in Rexville, Kentucky on August 23, 1940 to the late Earl and Irene (Halsey) Gregory. She married William James Blake on May 23, 1984 in Churubusco, Indiana and he preceded her in death on October 13, 2002. Inez was employed with Eaton Controls in Kendallville for 19 years before retiring in 1990. She was a member of the American Legion Post 86, Kendallville; V.F.W. Post 3846, Churubusco; and Eagles Lodge 1357, Garrett.

Daughter, Jean and Jeff Coplin of Kendallville.
Daughter, Cheryl and Jerry Harter of Kendallville.
Daughter, Tina Cleveland of Kendallville.
Son, Tony and Teresa Alfrey of Cromwell.
Son, Tim Alfrey of Kendallville.
Stepson, Royal Blake of Helmer.
Stepdaughter, Cathy Maxwell.
14 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren
Sister, Brenda and Larry Hughes of Churubusco.
Sister, Betty Winebrenner of Syracuse.
Brother, Norman and Linda Gregory of Churubusco.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Stump; brother, Len Gregory; brother-in-law, Gail Winebrenner.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville with Pastor David Beard officating. 
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM prior to the funeral service.
Burial will take place at Christian Chapel Cemetery, Merriam.
