Herman Eugene Croy, age 92, of Fort Wayne, Indiana was promoted to glory with his heavenly Father on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Adams Heritage in Monroeville, Indiana. Mr. Croy was born in Plymouth, Indiana on September 4, 1928 to the late Howard Carson and Thelma Estella (Wright) Croy. He married Doris Marie Young in Gas City, Indiana on November 27, 1949. They were long standing members of Grace Point Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed fellowshipping with his family and friends. Herman honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1952-1954.
Survivors include:
Wife, Doris Croy of Fort Wayne.
Daughter, Joanne (Jay) White of Woodburn.
Daughter, Robin Agler of Van Wert, Ohio.
Five grandchildren: Joshua (Melissa), Justin (Jennee), Jacob (Rachel), Jason (Ashley) and Kim (Eric), 13 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Brother, John (Loretta) Croy.
Sisters, Eilene (Stan) Cook and Janice Roberts.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three children, Janet (Croy) Jeffries, Ronald Croy and Carol Croy; son-in-law, Jerry Agler; siblings and in-laws, Ken (Alice) Croy, Nilah (Earl) Netzley and John Roberts.
Visitation with the family will be held at 10:00 AM with a celebration of life service at 11:00 AM on December 30, 2020 at Grace Point Church of the Nazarene, 8611 Mayhew Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Burial with military honors will take place at 2:30 PM at Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Grace Point Church of the Nazarene or Northern Indiana Funeral Care.
