Harold Runkle

Harold Dee Runkle, age 81, of Wolcottville, passed away at his home on Thursday, March 17, 2022. Mr. Runkle was born in Bluffton, Indiana to Kenneth Runkle and Lillian Bodenhorn. He graduated from Jackson Township High School in 1958. He honorably served his country in the United States Army. He married Betty Jean Koby in Warren, Indiana on October 9, 1959. Harold was employed many years with International Harvestor. He was also a skilled plumber and electrician and a master fly tier.

Survivors include:
Wife, Betty Runkle of Wolcottville.
Son, Jeremy Runkle of Wolcottville.
Daughter, Dawn and Thom Pemberton of Greentown, Indiana.
Daughter, Mary Beth and Bob Bouterse of Danville, Indiana.
Two grandchildren, Katherine and Brian Shink of Avon and Andrew and Ashley Pemberton of Pullman, Washington. 
Two great grandchildren, Liam Pemberton and Eliana Pemberton. 
Sister, Kenna and Roger Hippenhammer of Noblesville.
Brother, Randy and Yvette Runkle of Bluffton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Ian Pemberton in 2021; and sister, Karen.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 12:00 noon at the Woodruff Grove United Methodist Church with visitation at 10:00 AM prior to the funeral service. Pastor Jim Taylor will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Woodruff Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Woodruff Grove United Methodist Church.
