Harold Hunt

Harold E. Hunt, age 92, of Kendallville, passed away Saturday December 30, 2023 at Lutheran Life Villages.  Harold was born in Green Center, Indiana on October 6, 1931 to Sidney Hunt and Helen (Herendeen) Hunt.  He honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.  He married Darlene M. Nodine on May 30, 1957 in Kendallville.  Harold was employed in the tool and die industry most of his life.  He loved fishing, hunting, and enjoyed working on his cars, and being a handyman around the house.  Harold belonged to the American Legion, and he was a life member of the VFW.

Survivors include:
His wife, Darlene Hunt of Kendallville.
Daughters, Kristine (Michael) Hagen of Saint Simons Island, Georgia and Nicole Hunt of Angola, Indiana.
Sister, Janice Gibson.
Brother-in-law, Lynn (Cecilia) Nodine of Albion.
Grandchildren, Stephanie (John) Fleckenstein of Wolcottville, and Kelsey (Seth) Carroll of Saint Simons Island, Georgia. 
Great grandchildren, Madalyn, Carter, and Kaitlyn Fleckenstein.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 11:00am followed by a funeral service at 12:30pm at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville.
Burial with military honors will take place at Lake View Cemetery.
