Gary Kimpel

Gary Paul Kimpel, age 66, died Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Kendallville Manor Healthcare Center. Gary was born in Kendallville, Indiana, on December 4, 1958, to the late Paul Henry Kimpel (2012) and Betty Jean (Kammerer) Keep (2011). Gary delivered newspapers worked odd jobs in Kendallville for years. 

Survivors include half-sister, Ann Smeltzer; half-brother, Dennis Smeltzer; aunt, Roth Hons; aunt, Dorothy Drake. 

Gary was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Kathy Jean Kimpel in 1961; Aunts, Helen Neidig and June Bricker; and uncles, Art Kimpel and Earl Kimpel.

Gary will be laid to rest next to his family at Lake View Cemetery in Kendallville. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at 12:00 noon.
