Delmar Ramsour

Delmar Ray Ramsour, 85, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 10th, 2024. He was born on July 28, 1938, in Hannibal, Missouri to Ora (Orie) and Anna Belle.

He was married to Jeanne Louise Ramsour for 52 years in California, where they raised their family. They faithfully attended Our Savior Lutheran Church in Fremont, CA and St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Rocklin, CA. Del was proud to serve his country in the United States Navy aboard the U.S.S Hancock. After serving in the Navy, he worked for Pozas Brothers Trucking for over 25 years and retired in February of 2000.

He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids over the years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife and two sisters, Nadine and Carlotta Sue.

He is survived by his older sister, Audrey Foglesong, three sons, Phillip (Josie) of Fremont, CA, Bruce (Kristen) of Redding, CA, and Timothy (Tracy) of Fort Wayne, IN. He was grandpa to Phillip Jr. (Nicole), Issac (Aleia), Matthew, Lucas (Ashley), Olivia, Christopher (Brittney), Abigail (Noah), Elijah (Geneva), Lydia, Benjamin, and nine great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to Westview Alliance Church, 9804 Illinois Road, Fort Wayne, IN. Funeral service is on Friday, June 21st, 2024 at 5 p.m., with visitation one hour prior.
