Calvin Swangin

Calvin Leroy Swangin, age 62, of Fort Wayne, died May 7, 2021 at Summit City Nursing & Rehab in Fort Wayne. Calvin was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on August 27, 1958 to the late W. Condy Swangin and Inez L. (Capps) Swangin. He honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He married Terry Ann Broberg in 1989. 

Survivors include: 
Wife, Terry Swangin of Fort Wayne.
Son, Nielsen Clay Swangin and his wife, Sabrina Lechko of Fort Wayne.
Daughter, Mary Swangin and her wife, Victoria Roberts of Fort Wayne.
Three grandchildren.
Brother, Lynn and Kathy Swangin of Oceanside, California.
Brother, Larry Swangin of Fort Wayne.
Sister, Debbie and Denny Jordan of Fort Wayne.
Sister, Linda and Fletcher Grover of Butler.
Sister, Kelly Swangin of Fort Wayne.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Sliger. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, May 14, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 1122 South Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana with visitation at 1:00 PM. Fr. Jake Runyon will officiate the mass. Military honors will be conducted following the funeral mass at the church.
