Brenda Kay (Menghini) Jones

Brenda Kay (Menghini) Jones, age 77, of Columbia City, Indiana, passed away on February 27, 2022 at Oak Pointe Assisted Living Facility.  Brenda was born in Herrin, Illinois on October 31, 1944 to the late Frank Menghini and Gladys Lemadell (Mason) Menghini. She married Robert C. Jones, Sr. for forty years before he preceded her in death in 2014. She enjoyed working as an insurance secretary at Nationwide Insurance in Fort Wayne and then Hostetler Insurance in LaGrange until her retirement in 2009. After she retired, she enjoyed relaxing at home, spending time with family and friends, and shopping. She loved hummingbirds, so when you see one think of her and the joy she brought to your life. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and loved spending time with them and giving them hugs and kisses.  She looked forward to spending time with them whenever she could. 

She is survived by her children Barbara A. (Jasper) Springer of Larwill and Robert C. (Barbara) Jones, Jr. of Fort Wayne.  
Grandchildren: Thadius Jones, Jessup Jones, Dakota (Michelle) Jones, Rylee Jones, Isabella Iavagnilio, Brayden Springer, Zane Springer, and Wyatt Springer. Great-grandchildren Jacob, Phoebe, Stephanie, Luka, and Ariella.

At Brenda’s request, there will be no funeral or memorial services.
