Betty Wiseheart Obituary

Betty Louise (Doll) Wiseheart, age 90, of Decatur, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at her residence in Decatur. Mrs. Wiseheart was born in Miami, Florida on February 1, 1932 to the late Edward N. Doll and Thelma Louise (Hamilton) Doll. She graduated from high school and joined the United States Navy honorably serving her country from 1952-1954 during the Korean Conflict. She met her future husband, Paul Wilson Wiseheart, in the Navy and they were married to on April 24, 1954 in San Diego, California. He preceded her in death on April 6, 2019. 

Survivors include: 
Daughter, Cheryl and Thomas Banks of Decatur, Indiana.
Son, Paul Keith Wiseheart of Romeoville, Illinois.    
Son, Dale Wiseheart and Linda Contreras both of Decatur, Indiana.  
Son, Todd and Robin Wiseheart of Diamond, Illinois.  
Son, Joel and Crystal Wiseheart of Corona, California.
14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.       
Brother, Edward N. and Dianne Doll, Jr. of Marietta, Georgia.  
Sister, Barbara "Cookie" Doll Delli-Veneri of Blairsville, Georgia.  
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Thelma (Hamilton) Doll; her husband, Paul Wilson Wiseheart; and grandson, David J Banks.  

There will be a memorial service held on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 12:00 PM at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, 7308 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne.
A second memorial service will take place Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 9:00 AM at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, LaGrange, Illinois. 
A committal service with United States Navy honors will take place May 28, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 West Hoff Road, Elwood, Illinois.
Memorial donations may be made to Honor Flight.
