Barbara (Asher) Stevens

On August 25th at 7:03 a.m., Barbara Stevens, age 78, of Kendallville, was carried by Angels to her forever home in Heaven. A home where she is singing in the Angels Choir as she plays her piano or guitar. A home where she is surrounded by many loved ones who passed before her including her beloved cats. A home where she is set free. Barbara was born in Kendallville, Indiana on November 27, 1945, to the late Thomas Ray Asher and Geraldine Rose (Vorndran) Asher. Barb sold Avon products in the past. 

Survivors include:
Daughter, Tia Stevens Buckland of Kendallville.
Daughter, Kimberly Stevens Edsall of Kendallville.
Son, Bradley and Nicole Stevens of Albion.
Her grandchildren: Amy Edsall (Anthony O’Neal), Ricky Edsall Junior, Ronnie Stevens, Kyla Weinberg, Jackie Weinberg, Brandon Stevens, and 10 great grandchildren.
Sister, Mary Ann and Steve Heltzel of Kendallville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Geraldine Asher; three brothers, Thomas Michael Asher, Patrick Asher and Steven Asher; and one grandson, Dylan Stevens. 

The family will be having a private graveside service at a later date at Orange Cemetery.
